SJA Palaro 2026 closes with the Augustinians on top
A week-long competition ended with an awarding program, and the Augustinians of Grade 12 took the overall championship across all batches.
SJA Palaro 2026 has officially come to a close. The St. Joseph's Academy of Malinao, Aklan Inc. community celebrated the culmination of this year's intramurals on July 31, capping a week-long competition marked by strong performances and steady sportsmanship.
The Augustinians, the August, of Grade 12 finished as overall champion across all batches. The awarding program honored them along with the other champions and outstanding participants who showed excellence in victory and in defeat alike.
Six grade-level houses carried Guardians through the week, each with its own banner, saint, and word, from the Fratelli of Grade 7 to the Augustinians of Grade 12.
More than the medals and trophies, SJA Palaro 2026 left behind stronger friendships, teamwork, discipline, resilience, and unity among Josephians. The banners come down, but the week they marked stays with the Guardians who lived it.
