SHS teachers train on the Strengthened curriculum
Five Senior High School teachers from St. Joseph's Academy of Malinao attended a PEAC in-service training in Iloilo City on the Strengthened Senior High School curriculum.

From July 3 to 5, 2026, selected Senior High School teachers of St. Joseph's Academy of Malinao, Aklan Inc. traveled to the University of San Agustin in Iloilo City for the PEAC In-Service Training for Senior High School Teachers. The training's theme, "Implementing the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum," reflected the changes now taking shape in senior high education nationwide.
SJA was represented by Ms. Nicole Kyrell Estrella, Ms. Gyla Eureka Domingo, Ms. Allyson Romano, Mr. Lonard Paul Ijalo, and Mr. Judge Idorita. Over three days of sessions, the group worked alongside teachers from other schools to unpack the new curriculum and sharpen how it gets taught in the classroom.
Collaborative sessions and curriculum enrichment activities gave the group a clearer picture of what the strengthened curriculum asks of a teacher. That groundwork now carries back into SJA's own classrooms.
It is this kind of continuing formation, for teachers as much as for Guardians, that keeps St. Joseph's Academy's mission moving forward: raising Josephians who are competent, resilient, and values-driven, ready for higher education, the workplace, and whatever comes after.
